Terms and Conditions of Sale
L&R Ingeniería — Rafael Oliva, Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz, Argentina. These terms apply to sales made through this store (orders arranged by e-mail) of both our own products and surplus stock. Last updated: July 2026.
1. Nature of surplus stock
Items identified as surplus come from L&R Ingeniería’s own technical stock: components, development kits and boards originally purchased for experimental work or small production series. Each item is sold in the condition stated in its listing:

The age of each item (year of purchase) is stated in the listing where known. The buyer accepts that this is previous-generation material, in many cases discontinued by its manufacturer.
2. Quotes and orders
- Sales are arranged by direct contact (e-mail). Published prices are for reference and do not include shipping.
- Prices are expressed in US dollars (USD). For transactions in Argentine pesos, the exchange rate stated in the quote applies.
- Minimum order: USD 50.
- Quotes are valid for 7 (seven) calendar days.
- All items are offered subject to prior sale: stock is confirmed at the time of quoting.
3. Shipping
- Domestic shipping within Argentina (default: Andreani; optional: Correo Argentino), at flat rates by package size, stated in the quote. Online estimator: envia.com — Andreani calculator. Reference example (2026): shipping from Río Gallegos to Buenos Aires, standard box 20 cm (width) × 30 cm (length) × 7 cm (height), up to 1 kg → approx. USD 11.
- Discounted (free) shipping on domestic (AR) orders above USD 150.
- International shipping: quoted case by case (DHL or FedEx International). Import duties, taxes and customs handling at destination are the buyer’s sole responsibility.
- Risk in the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. Items are packed to professional standards (ESD protection where applicable).
4. Invoicing
L&R Ingeniería operates under Argentina’s simplified tax regime (monotributo, ARCA). We issue:
- Factura C for sales within Argentina.
- Factura E (export invoice) for exports of goods or services, as per current regulations.
Prices do not include taxes or duties applicable in the destination country.
5. Warranty and returns
- Own products (new): 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, limited to repair or replacement of the product.
- Surplus “New” and “Used — Working”: dead-on-arrival (DOA) warranty for 10 calendar days from delivery. For a verifiable failure within that period we offer replacement (subject to stock) or refund.
- Surplus “Used — Untested” and “For Parts”: sold strictly as-is, with no guarantee of operation, which is reflected in the price.
- Consumers: for distance sales to consumers, Argentine law (Consumer Protection Act 24.240, sec. 34 and related rules) grants a right to revoke the purchase within ten (10) calendar days of receipt. The product must be returned unused and in its original condition. Return costs are borne by the seller only on domestic (AR) purchases; on international purchases, return shipping is at the buyer’s expense.
- Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under Argentine law.
6. Intended use and limitation of liability
Items are intended for development, prototyping, education and general industrial applications. Fitness for safety-critical applications (medical, aviation, life-support systems) is not warranted without prior qualification by the buyer. L&R Ingeniería’s liability is limited to the invoiced value of the goods.
7. Technical documentation
Linked datasheets and manuals are the property of their respective manufacturers and are provided as published, with no guarantee of currency.
8. Personal data
Buyer contact details are used exclusively to process the transaction and are not shared with third parties unrelated to it (carrier, invoicing).
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Jurisdiction: the ordinary courts of Río Gallegos, Province of Santa Cruz, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-law venue.
