Typical application diagram — switching power supply for battery operation:

Switching power supply designed to operate from 12 or 24 V (or 48 V) batteries, providing regulated +5 V/1 A or 3 A, with an option for up to 2 modules of +/−12 V @ 400 mA (or +/−15 V @ 300 mA) and −5 V @ 100 mA. The board has an adjustable low-battery alarm level and an excessive discharge disconnect level, using an ICL7665. Digital ON/OFF input. Efficiency 75 to 80%.
